New Year and New Beginnings...
Many will remember us as The Mint in Rye. A name we loved and an ethos we are building on.
For 2022 we have re-branded to SOAP & SALVATION to encompass all that we were and all that we want to become, a journey we would love you to join us on.
We now have a physical Store within a collection of old buildings on Rope Walk in the historic and very pretty English town of Rye, East Sussex. Between Coast and Countryside, we are a mere 1 hour from London by train and positioned at the heart of a bustling artistic and creative community which we think most antique and vintage dealers would love.

As well as the store, where we sell a mix of Antique and Vintage pieces for the home alongside art and books, we offer a range of contemporary candles, scent and utility goods.
All of this is complemented by our soon to be announced range of Workshops where will be collaborating with some wonderful talents to host a series of events throughout the year.
Finally we offer a Library, an actual place to sit and read and savour. It houses a personally curated collection of books and other publications, sourced over decades. Each volume, whether it be art, fashion, design, photography, architecture or textiles, has been used for inspiration for our own personal design projects. We have made it available to be used as a resource if you are looking for direction, inspiration or a lightbulb moment for your own creative projects. Or perhaps it’s the perfect backdrop as your meeting space.
