Item Description
A rare and quite spectacular coffee table by the French design house, Maison Charles. Very heavy and good quality piece, the marble that sits within the base is Italian - verde issorie and has a bevelled edge. The life size pineapples are made from metal and measure 30cms tall. Condition wise, its in a good vintage condition, the clear glass top has scratches commensurate with age. With regard to the last photo, Ive tried to capture where there has been loss of a silver of glass the black trim. Its not really that visible and is smooth to touch. The brass to the plinths is displaying some tarnishing and wear as to be expected.
