Item Description
A rare Florentine floor lamp.
I’ve not come across a floor lamp like this before, you mostly find cabinets in this style - made from wood, designed to looks a little distressed.
Really beautiful colours to this - a rich red and if you look closely there’s tiny turquoise detailing (which shouldn’t work but does!).
Made from wood, hand painted, on gilt bun feet.
Made in Italy c. 1960
There is some age-related paint loss to this -mostly to the base, but please see photos. Given their style is to look distressed it doesn’t detract IMO.
Rewired using old gold twisted style flex, and fitted with a new, high quality velvet fringed shade.
