Item Description
A wonderful mid century pineapple chandelier.
Italy, c. 1970.
This is a rare, large and heavy piece; it has 8 arms and the actual (life size) pineapple is made from cast brass, and the rest from brass plated steel.
Given the latter’s material it has a fair amount of patina adding to the look, with a smattering of tiny rust spots, which does not detract.
Its been professionally rewired and tested, with new candle drips. It accepts x8 e14 bayonet bulbs.
It hangs on the original chain, and given it is a chain you could add or subtract from It to suit your room.
