Item Description

A super rare backlit shop display for Chanel No 5, featuring the face of Chanel at the time, the French actress and model, Carole Bouquet.

This would have been in Chanel shops in France in the late 1980s.

It’s surprising how well made and what good quality it is - there are solid brass screws for example and is supported (like a picture frame) with a thick lucite stand.

This works perfectly as it is, but will be suppled professionally tested.

I haven’t fully secured the poster (which is in perfect condition) as you may want to replace it with something else (it’s occured to me it would be great with a mirror in it, although I suspect you won’t get a huge amount of backlight from it).

The frame is black and gold and it’s a typically stylish Chanel piece.

Check measurements - it’s large, and is quite the statement piece.
