This crystal balloon chandelier originates from 1930s Czechoslovakia. The chandelier is in vintage condition retaining all of its original Czech crystal. The main body of the chandelier is made from strings of ascending crystal beads. The frame is decorated with hand-cut crystal prisms attached with metal bobèche pins. Crystal beaded strings also form the lower balloon down to the base with . The chandelier has one central lamp which is concealed and illuminates the chandelier from within. The chandelier comes supplied with braided flex, chain, a ceiling rose and a chandelier hook plate. Chandelier requires an E27 lamp, this is not included. The bottom balloon of the chandelier has to be removed to change the lamp.


This chandelier has been fully restored and rewired here, in Stockport, near Manchester by our small team of experts and is now ready to be installed. We recommend that this crystal balloon chandelier is installed by an electrician and into a joist or a supporting noggin. To clean the chandelier dust the metal components regularly with a soft cloth. The crystal can then be wiped with a glass wipe or a cloth that has been sprayed with glass cleaner. A final wipe with a paper towel will give a polished finish.
