A sweet little oil on canvas. Naively painted. Late 19th century. Size: 10 inches x 7 inches. Unframed, faintly signed but indistinguishable, dated 1894. Depicting a beautiful country Cottage Under Thatch. There are marks, wear & knocks but it is such a charming little painting. For a delivery quotation please enquire. An interesting observation in this painting are the three thick heavy wooden beams which appear to literally be holding the front of the building in place. Its sadly possible this cottage in the painting has long been lost, however it could quite still be in existence some where?
