A beautiful sheet! Ultra smooth, fine white pure linen with delightful hand worked floral embroidery skipping across the return hem; so romantic. An intricately worked monogram of three intertwined letters; E, W and L? is set in the centre above the decoration. The bottom hem is finished with a narrow drawn thread which is always a sign of quality - who would see it apart from the maid? A lovely detail!


This will be fabulous to sleep under or what a beautiful voile curtain it'll make, billowing at a window. I think I would have to use this as a sheet, it's just heavenly but the choice is yours, maybe both, depending on the season!


Freshly laundered and ready for use. Two or three tiny pin holes (really tiny!) that you can only really see when you hold the linen up to the light.
