Oh my goodness, this is amazing stuff, the linen is thick and tightly woven - you'll never find anything like this in a modern fabric.
Totally unused, never laundered, dating to between the wars, 1920s or 30s. It has simple hand turned hems and is completely plain. A fabulous sheet to put on your bed, it'll be quite an experience to sleep under but the fabric would also be just wonderful for upholstery or curtains etc. Or a big tablecloth.
This fabulous piece has been well stored and has very few marks. It needs a good soak and a few washes to remove the sizing and accumulated dust (laundry notes supplied!).
Colour is currently a warm sandy-beige (a little darker than the photos show). This will lighten a lot as it is laundered and it'll become a cooler putty-beige shade.
