It is rare to find these beautiful hand made sheets still with their matching pillowcases and this set is particularly lovely. 


 


An excellent quality large pure linen sheet with intricate ladder hem and monogram of the letters MJL (probably!).  The matching pillowcases have the same monogram and section of drawn thread in the same style.  This is French workmanship at its best; fabulous heritage pieces to be treasured but also to be used, this set will be so lovely to sleep with.


The sheet is in excellent condition with no wear or damage.  The pillowcases have no thinning/damage/wear, just a little repair needed to the back closure.


And again, my favourite detail - that little drawn thread addition to the bottom hem, destined only to be seen by the maid!


Pillowcases: approximately 67 cm x 69 cm (will take a 24 inch/60 cm pillow)
