This is a fabulous huge piece of unused heavy vintage French pure linen sheeting fabric - an exciting find! The wide linen is rare and this is a really long piece. They just don't make fabric like this any more, it's thick, sturdy and really built to last. Certainly far heavier than any sheeting linen we'd see today - but it will make excellent upholstery fabric and give so much more character than a modern fabric.


Colour is currently a sandy beige which will lighten as the fabric is laundered.


This is a completely unused "dead stock" piece. Very well stored with just some minimal marks on the outside but it will need to be soaked and washed before use to remove dust and sizing. I will supply my laundry notes with purchase.
