Item Description
Beautiful large hand made vintage French cotton bedspread suitable for a king size bed. In ecru with paler panels. So much work! It's a delightful piece and in excellent vintage condition, ready for use.
It is 150 cm (5 ft) wide to fit the top of a king size bed and then has two side pieces each of 45 cm (18 inches) to go down each side of the bed and finishing with tassels.
It is 200 cm long (79 inches) and then has two panels top and bottom each of 25 cm (10 inches) to go over the top and bottom. I think you can make this out in the photos.
I have found one little corner where there are a few loose threads but other than that I can see no damage and there don't seem to be any marks.
To give you an idea of scale, this was photographed on a 5ft/150 cm king size bed with a big thick duvet underneath.
