https://www.thehoarde.com/dealers/antiques-decorativeA really attractive and good quality pair of early 20th century weathered cast stone garden urns.
The colour is similar to Cotswold stone or blonde terracotta. Both have weathered well and attained a very pleasing patina that only comes with natural ageing.
They have gadrooned bodies with lovely ribbed rims. The tops sit on the original socles and square bases, which makes them look quite substantial. Will look amazing planted out.
Condition of both is very good with no chips to the rims or cracks / damage to the urns, apart from one socle top that is lacking a piece and this is to be restored, but makes no difference to the stability or appearance at all and won't b visible once repaired.
They are a good size at approx 62cm high overall x 42cm wide and each square base is 31cm square.
