Here is an absolutely stunning example of a low Bajot table which originated in Shekhawati, a region of Rajasthan. It dates back to the 19th century, and is made from Roheda wood. This bajot table holds a simple design but this juxtaposes with the intricately hand-carved, turned legs on the bottom. In Rajasthan, they would have been used for many reasons including day to day dining and displaying miscellaneous objects such as writing equipment and decor.

Nowadays, it can be used for similar functions whilst giving a rustic and oriental feel to your home!
