Item Description
This Ming style stool is about 150 years old, it has an elm seat and pine legs. It has aged in the most beautiful way; it's exudes its wonderful history - you can even see tiny remnants of the old red lacquer. This sturdy little stool has been delicately carved, with horse hoof legs and 4 small carved blocks depicting flora, symbolising abundance.
It would probably have been a street stool, in this modern world it would make a very sweet stool in a child's bedroom or small side table.
Dimensions- H - 34cm, L - 36.5cm, W - 23.5cm on seat.
