A nineteenth century, brass pastry tool with a wheel to one end and a heart shaped cutter to the other. The wheel would have been used for trimming the rim of a pie and the heart shape was for cutting shapes to ornament a pie. This is good quality example and it dates from c.1880. It is in excellent condition.
Dimensions: Length 10cm. Length of heart 3.2cm. Diameter of wheel 2.7cm.
