Item Details

A nineteenth century steel meat cleaver with a handle in the shape of a leg. The wooden handle is attached to the cleaver by aluminium rivets and this gives the impression of an attractive, booted leg. It dates from c.1880. There is a crack in the wood on one side of the handle by the heel, and there is also very slight staining to the wood and pitting to the steel. Dimensions: Length 29.8cm. Height 10cm. Width of handle 1.5cm. Price includes postage within the U.K. Shipping to the U.S.A. add £25. Most of Western Europe add £12.
