Item Details

An 18th century, creamware jelly mould with a Prince of Wales Feathers to the base. The design to the base of this mould is beautifully modelled and very well detailed. The mould is quite lightly potted and dates from c.1780. There are four small cracks to the rim. Three of these are firing cracks from the manufacture but the fourth has spread and is now 1cm. long. These minor faults would not prevent the mould from being used.
