Item Details

An attractive, 19th century, French crystal ice bucket with engraved decoration. This is made from a good, heavy quality crystal and it dates from c.1860. The lower half of the body has a long elliptical cut very similar to that on much glassware of this period and the top section is nicely engraved with a large, blank cartouche and a band of roses and leaves.Unusually, there is also a bird engraved to the base. This would be an ideal gift as the blank cartouche could be engraved with the recipients name. The piece is in excellent condition.
