Item Details

An early 20th century, Grimwades pottery jelly mould. This is marked, in black transfer print, “GRIMWADES” across a globe, above “STOKE ON TRENT ENGLAND”. This mark was used from 1906 and the mould dates from c.1910. The geometric design, to the interior, is very similar to one of the Shelley designs and it would turn out well. There is a firing crack to the rim but this does not go through to the exterior. The mould is in good, usable condition.
Dimensions: Length 13.5cm. Width 12cm. Depth 10.6cm.
