Item Details

A large, French copper egg bowl. This is marked “MADE IN FRANCE” and it dates from c.1920. It is a very good example for a piece of this period as it is made from an exceptionally heavy gauge of copper. It has a substantial, brass ring handle, so that it can hang when not in use, and it has a rolled rim. There is very minor denting, consistent with use, but otherwise it is in very good condition.
Dimensions: Diameter 41.4cm. Depth 20cm.
