Item Details

A large, 19th century, French copper ladle. This is made from a very heavy gauge of copper and it dates from c.1860. The end of the handle is turned and resembles a shepherd’s crook. The ladle has seen a lot of use and the result of this is that the copper is now quite heavily pitted. Otherwise it is in good condition.


Dimensions: Length 50.2cm. Diameter of bowl 11.6cm. Depth of bowl 5.5cm.
