Item Details

A nineteenth century, dust pressed tile, block printed in black with a scene taken from a print by Durer. This tile is marked, in the casting, “MINTON’S CHINA WORKS STOKE ON TRENT” and it dates from c.1880. The print is very well detailed and the tile is in good condition, with just a couple of very tiny chips to the rim.
Dimensions: 15.2cm square by 1.1cm. thick.
