Item Details

A fabulous, 19th century, hand raised, wooden pie mould. Usually pie moulds of this type are very plain in form and we have never seen one which has such a fancy form to the top. It is turned from beechwood, has a lovey patina, and it dates from c.1860. There is a split in the wood, on the shoulder of the mould, but otherwise it is in good condition, and this would not prevent it from being used.
