Item Description
A fabulous set of nine, 19th century, engraved crystal wine or water glasses by Baccarat. These are beautifully engraved with a design which combines ferns and classical scrolls in the Art Nouveau style and to the rim is a fine border of leaves and berries. The stems have a low, baluster knop and the glasses are made from a very good quality crystal. They date from c.1890, which is prior to when Baccarat started to mark their drinking glasses, and they are all in excellent condition.
Dimensions: Height 15.5cm. Diameter at the rim 8cm. Diameter at the base 7.2cm. There are marginal differences in the sizes as they are hand blown.
