Item Details

A nineteenth century, sycamore breadboard, the border carved with “Our Daily Bread” and stylised, long leaves. This dates from c.1880 and generally is in good condition with no cracks or splits. There are the usual knife marks, to both the face and the reverse of the board, and there is also a small burn mark to the rim and some staining to the reverse.
Dimensions: Diameter 29.4cm. Depth 2cm.
