Item Description
A Wedgwood, dark blue jasper dip, Campana vase and cover. This is marked ”WEDGWOOD ENGLAND” and it dates from c.1900. The vase is decorated with a continuous band of classical figures, some offering sacrifices, between trees and foliage. Beneath this is a band of acanthus leaves and classical motifs which is replicated on the lid. To the rim and base of the vase are narrow, stylised leaf borders. Both vase and cover are in perfect condition, with no damage or restoration.
Dimensions: Height 24.5cm. Diameter 15.5cm.
