Item Details

A Wedgwood, dark blue jasper dip teapot and cover. This is marked “WEDGWOOD MADE IN ENGLAND” and it dates from c.1920. It is also impressed with the number “30”, which would be a batch number, and the individual letters “B” and “X”. It is decorated, in white relief, with a continuous band of classical figures, trees and foliage. There are bands of laurel leaves and berries around the spout and handle and, to the lid, is a border of acanthus leaves. All of the reliefs are good quality and the jasper dip is a rich shade of blue. Both the pot and lid are in excellent condition.
