Item Details

A Wedgwood, dark blue jasper dip tray from a dressing table set. This is marked “WEDGWOOD MADE IN ENGLAND” and it dates from c.1920. It is also impressed with a large letter ‘O’ which could be a workman’s mark. It is decorated, in white relief, with two classical maidens offering gifts and these are divided by an anthemion. To the rim is a border of oak leaves and acorns. The reliefs are all good quality and the jasper dip is a rich shade of blue. The tray is in excellent condition.
