Item Details

A late 19th century,Wedgwood, green jasper dip, trophy vase. This is marked ”WEDGWOOD ENGLAND” and it is also impressed with the year of production “1891”. This was the first year that Wedgwood marked items with the England mark. The shape and style vase is known as a trophy vase due to the reliefs on the neck which depict hanging musical and military trophies. The body of the vase is decorated with four of the Muses and these are set between various foliate borders. All of the reliefs are very good quality and the vase is in excellent condition.
Dimensions: Height 20cm. Diameter 10cm.
