Item Details

A lovely, wooden nutcracker carved in the form of a foxes head. This is very finely carved, from a dark, hard wood. It is possibly Black Forest and dates from c1880. There is slight wear to the end of one of the foxes ears but otherwise it is in good condition and the wood has a lovely, rich patina.
Dimensions: Length 16.5cm. Width 5.6cm. Height 5cm.
