Item Description
This lovely patchwork star was carefully made to be ready for the manufacture of a quilt, sewn onto a linen backing then put to one side and never used, never quilted, but for whatever reason the lady who made it didn't use it, it was a benefit to us as c.1860 this hand sewn patchwork star still shows lovely colours.
The block is 37cm x 37cm
The mount is 21cm thick.
The full piece framed is 94cm x 94cm
