Offering vintage charm, this antique decoy duck carries an air of mystery as its exact age is uncertain.

The initials "C N" on the bottom suggest early Victorian by the writing style, but we have no provenance.

Acquired from the continent, it is likely of French origin.

Regardless of its age or origin, this decoy duck is a fabulous piece with a robust base and remnants of paint, notably the vivid red and blue feathers on the tail.

Standing at 17cm high, with a width of 11cm and a length of 32cm, a great decorative folk art piece.
