A fantastic large hand painted wall panel, originating from Spain in the 19th Century depicting Mary crushing the Serpent Head.


Taken from Genesis 3.15 where it is referring to Mary crushing the Serpent that was the temptation of Adam and Eve.


The painting is an interpretation of an 18th Century painting by Giovanni Battista Tiepolo (1696-1770) The Immaculate Conception.
