Item Details

French Faience from the early 20th Century Circa 1920 is known for the vibrant Hand painted designs and craftmanship. These pieces often feature Floral motifs or Pastoral scenes in rich Yellow, Blue, Green and Red colours. Faience or Majolica is a type of Tin glazed Earthenware which gives the distinctive gloss finish but is known for chipping as shown in the pictures, but this is commensurate with age and use.
