We love this chest of drawers so much we've left it completely as we found it - unwaxed and unpainted as it has such a wonderful rustic charm. The ceramic knobs are original and the chest stands on turned feet. Unusually for a pine chest, this has rounded sides which is the hallmark of a craftsman made piece. There are no splits, cracks or woodworm (phew!) and the drawers all run well. Lovely proportions.
