Art Deco English Oak Sideboard Cabinet 2 Drawer C.1935

Highly decorative and good quality English 1930s Art Deco sideboard/cabinet in a lighter tone of oak than most with some great grain and patterns. This one “sits well” and is rather striking with its chrome and oversized ribbed oak handles, 3 “ball feet” to the base, floral decorated accents and reeded patterned drawers and cupboard doors.

Workshop report - The cabinet has been carefully repolished by hand to lift and enhance the grain and tone of the oak. The handles are original and the drawers are running as they should. Both cupboard doors are sitting correctly and we have two removable half shelves to both sides. We have no repairs and the piece sits well and firm. Expect day to day marks to the insides of the drawers and cupboards. The chrome bottle holder is lightly pitted and worn and could be removed if you so desire. We have the odd mark or two but nothing serious and it’s ready to place.

For any large items that require two people to lift the item, we ask that you are available at the time of delivery to be able to give our shipper a lift off the van and into your house with the item. If you are not able to lift items yourself, we ask that you have someone on hand at the time of delivery to assist our shipper with moving the item. We are happy to quote for a two person delivery if required.
