James Cauty Stamps of Mass Destruction

We have always been an admirer of James Cauty and we have a very good copy of his “Stamps of Mass Destruction”,  an interesting addition to any collection and as mentioned in great unused condition.

The correct and final title for this book is STAMPS OF MASS DESTRUCTION and OTHER POSTAL DISASTERS VOLUME II. It is just part of an ongoing faux-stamp project centered around the Cautes Nationál Postal Disservice run by artist James Cauty with some help from the aquarium. The book details the first series of stamps that are pictured as first day covers, and in the back of each book is an envelope with a sheet of genuine CNPD stamps sometimes missing or taken out for mounting; however our copy has these intact.

The images and stamps are first rate and the stamp prints were eventually withdrawn after the Royal Mail threatened him with legal action, and have now become highly collectable as a result…

Caulty continues to create with this being produced in 2005.

For any large items that require two people to lift the item, we ask that you are available at the time of delivery to be able to give our shipper a lift off the van and into your house with the item.  If you are not able to lift items yourself, we ask that you have someone on hand at the time of delivery to assist our shipper with moving the item. We are happy to quote for a two person delivery if required.
