Delightful Little Victorian Country Estate 2 Drawer Desk C1880


What a delightful little Victorian desk, ever so attractive and rather “bold” looking with its 2 drawer combo, larger oversized reeded legs and white enamel castors by Cope & Collinson.


This one has the look of country house or country estate, maybe having been used in the office or in the servants quarters - maybe not!


It sits in good order with wear but nothing stressful or particularly off putting - we would guess the cast handles are a historic replacement for knobs but they work well. The desk sits firm and the castors are working as they should. The drawers inners are ink marked but nothing new. We have ensured the desk is ready to place after a careful clean in our workshop.

When purchasing from us we include delivery in the purchase price which is based on a one person delivery for England and Wales. Please call or email for quotes to Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Isles and for World-wide shipping.


For any large items that require two people to lift the item, we ask that you are available at the time of delivery to be able to give our shipper a lift off the van and into your house with the item. If you are not able to lift items yourself, we ask that you have someone on hand at the time of delivery to assist our shipper with moving the item. We are happy to quote for a two person delivery if required.
