Mid Century Desk Armchair Hunter and Smallpage. We Have 5 available.


These are so stylish and classic mid century in design with the angled arms a particularly good feature. All five with makers label Hunter And Smallpage Ltd of York to the underside.


“Thomas Hunter opened a furniture store in York in 1875 making high quality bespoke pieces and was soon joined by Benjamin Smallpage. As the years went by, Hunter & Smallpage gained a reputation for expertise and planning. Not only were chairs and suites designed to fit a particular room, customers would be "measured" for their armchairs and the rest is history…”


They survive in good order, 4 with a pistachio colour thick original vinyl a little aged but in good order. The other is a darker shade of green. All chairs have the right amount of aging and sit firm and are comfortable for desk use or to scatter around a home.

When purchasing from us we include delivery in the purchase price which is based on a one person delivery for England and Wales. Please call or email for quotes to Scotland, Northern Ireland, The Isles and for World-wide shipping.


For any large items that require two people to lift the item, we ask that you are available at the time of delivery to be able to give our shipper a lift off the van and into your house with the item. If you are not able to lift items yourself, we ask that you have someone on hand at the time of delivery to assist our shipper with moving the item. We are happy to quote for a two person delivery if required.
