Pair Egyptian Revival Throne Armchairs C.1910

A handsome pair of stately looking decorative chairs in the Egyptian revival manner with a rather bust to the front of the arms and little brass toes to the bases. Both chairs are ample in size and well shaped, again with a leaning towards Egyptian revival.

The chairs survive in good historic order having been reupholstered in 2015 in a deep emerald green woven silk mix fabric to the sides panels, backs, rear and sprung seat. The frames sit well with day to day marks and a few losses but nothing new. Both chairs sit firm with no movement in the frames or arms. The upholstery is lightly worn with no holes, rips and firmish. We can offer a reupholstery service if requested and this would cost £400 per chair plus VAT and you would need around 3 meters per chair.

When purchasing from us we include delivery in the purchase price which is based on a one person delivery for England and Wales. Please call or email for quotes to Scotland, Northern Ireland, The Isles and for World-wide shipping.

For any large items that require two people to lift the item, we ask that you are available at the time of delivery to be able to give our shipper a lift off the van and into your house with the item. If you are not able to lift items yourself, we ask that you have someone on hand at the time of delivery to assist our shipper with moving the item. We are happy to quote for a two person delivery if required.
