This original Campaign Style Gurney Invalid Bed Rest has a beautiful patina and was manufactured by Birch & Son in the mid to late 1800s. They were originally manufacturers of Brushes and expanded to include a number of different products including back rests for the beach bath and Invalid Bed Rests to name a few and were Based in Kings Lynn Norfolk.
