Item Description
This Fairground panel is hand painted with original artwork to both sides in the manner of Frederick George Fowle aka Futuristic Fred, who was one of the most sought after fairground artists of the twentieth century. Fred became renowned for his innovative and futuristic free hand lettering and scroll work, thus his nickname. This piece would have been part of the top trellis from a round stall with the lamp holders at the bottom edge. In original unrestored condition.
