A beautiful velvet footstool from the coronation of King George VI which took place in Westminster Abbey on the 12th May 1937. This is in exceptional condition with its limed oak frame with lovely open grain detailing with original velvet upholstery finished with gold braid banding. The base stamped “GR VI Coronation” this is highly sought after by Royal family collectors and furniture collectors alike.
