Item Description

In The 19th Century a Lady of society would always been seen wearing gloves, These gloves were often made from kid skin or a very fine fabric, as the fingers of the gloves were usually quiet narrow , a glove duster would be needed, this would be a wooden container which unscrewed to fill with a fine powder. At the end of the glove duster it would be drilled with small holes. the idea was to post the nostle end of the duster with the holes into the finger of the glove, dusting the inside of the fabric, this would make it easier to place the glove on the fingers. This is fine turned sycamore example and unscrews in the centre. As mentioned would only be used by a lady of means
