An Extremely large Distressed late 19th Century Country House Turkish Red Ground Carpet 

This rug is very large and measures 18ft x 9.5ft , the field decorated with stylised plant motifs , a multiple band border decorated with flower heads and repeating patterns.

The rug has seen better days but find another antique one this size! 

Sold in scruffy country house condition , with extreme wear to one corner and three or four slits to the edges which could be easily repaired.

Would look fantastic with a bit of restoration and imagination , however a large house is required!
