A superb quality mid 19th century armchair by Gillows of Lancaster. Raised on finely worked walnut turned front legs and arm supports with out splayed chamfered legs to the rear, all on the original Cope & Collinson brass casters.
Upholstered with a buttoned back in black velvet base layer and a slip cover in Colefax and fowler Cassandra navy
