"A Model of His Imperial Majesty's Yacht" built by Triggs Maritime Architects Circa 1900


The Yacht was probably designed by the pre-eminent Superyacht builders of the day, G L Watson, for Tsar Nicholas II of Russia, G. L. Watson had the go to design pedigree with over a third of the worlds yachts over 1,000 ton designed by the company.


Triggs Maritime Architects specialised in building models to chronicle the late Victorian Superyacht battle between the Royal Families of Europe, intent on leapfrogging each other whilst staying ahead any new money in America.
