A fabulously evocative painting of boats at Hayle Estuary in the Newlyn School open air style. Inscribed on reverse “Penzance Series” “Boats on Estuary Bank Hayle”. The painting has been framed to capture the spirit of "repair for another day's use" with junk shop finds and salvaged cedar rescued from an old boat shed.
Great presence on the wall, this one of a group by the same hand that I am listing, unsigned.
