This is an absolutely beautiful 1916 sterling silver chain mail evening bag. Hallmarked 1916 with import marks to Chester on the frame, a zig-zagged edge with suspended gorgeous ball detailing at the lower edge with a perfect kissing clasp with lovely snap close, and elongated curb link strap, each link of which is stamped 925. This bag has stunning details throughout, and is in very good condition. There are very small areas of link loss in the mesh on one side, but this is not noticeable when the bag is closed or in use, and the bag is in otherwise exceptional condition. A perfect gift for the fashionista, or for whenever you want to to channel your inner flapper.
